Welcome to The WriteConnect Community

The WriteConnect Community is a virtual gathering space for women writers to have fun connecting with other like-minded authors. Inside the community, over 100 members experience: 

• Support and accountability
• Inspiration
• Connection
• Fun!

If you're an aspiring author or unpublished author the lack of publication deadlines can make it even more challenging to actually sit down and write.

In America, more than half the population has a desire to write a novel but only 8% actually complete a written manuscript.

This is no easy feat but the journey of writing a novel doesn’t have to be lonely.

That's why the WriteConnect Community was created. To inspire you to keep writing and create a space for accountability and the tools and insights needed to finish your next novel.

This community will evolve over time but to start, you can expect the following experiences:

• Writing prompts
• Writing tips
• Feedback circles and accountability check-ins
• Community shares and wins
• Writing challenges (Main Character Challenge starts 3/26!)
• Fun!

The world needs your story, this is where you start. 

We need each other. When we make a decision to do something, in this case, write a novel, the journey can become challenging for any number of reasons. As much as we want to keep writing, keep working things out, keep working towards our dreams, that is our shame talking. 

The reality is that we're human, we're complex, and to do hard things we need each other. When we meet in community, we can go so much further. A nurturing community can lift us up when we feel stuck, be a mirror for what is possible, or shine a light guiding our next step. 

That is the intention behind the WriteConnect community — to be a place for women writers to get inspired, get unstuck, and have a soft place to land when it feels hard. Because writing a book is hard!

The WriteConnect Community is a part of the Her Narrative ecosystem which was created by author Charlotte Chipperfield. Together, we can achieve our goals! 

This is a great place to connect with other like-minded writers to share, learn, and get inspired! All are welcome but this space is intended to be a safe space for those who identify as female and will lean toward women's fiction writers but all writers are welcome.

For far too long, women have been discouraged from speaking up. Now, more than ever, the world needs women to tell their stories. 

Being a writer means that you love to create. This community serves as a place to engage with your creativity and imagination while learning about the novel writing journey. This is where like-minded authors come together because the journey of writing a novel doesn’t have to be lonely. 

Expect that this community will evolve over time but you can expect the following experiences:
